Posting Scores during Inactive Season November 15, 2008 to March 1, 2009
Scores cannot be posted from courses in Canada from November 15, 2008 to March 1, 2009, as conditions of the courses differ from the rating assigned. The Captain or Handicap Chair will decide if the course is playing to its rating on March 1 and if scores can be posted. If not, a new date will be provided to the members so they can post scores.
Those playing on courses that are in their active season, such as in the southern USA, are required to post scores after March 1, 2009. The RCGA computer has in the past removed all scores posted during the inactive season, so please enter your active season scores after March 1.
Commencing October 1, 2008 UGC-BW will be playing under WINTER RULES.
RCGA Preferred Lies (Winter Rules)
A ball lying through the green may be lifted without penalty and cleaned. Before lifting the ball, the player must mark its position. Having lifted the ball, it must be replaced on a spot withinsix inches and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a hazard and not on a putting green.
