Membership Information
Requirements for Membership:
To qualify as a member of the University Golf Club Business Women (UGC-BW), you must have a declarable income from employment or self- employment. Prior to acceptance as a member of UGC-BW, applicants must have an established handicap with a minimum of five (5) games (18 hole rounds) played in the last 12 months. Applicants must provide a printout from a recognized online handicap system verifying their handicap or provide attested scorecards to the Rules/Handicap committee.Waiting List
There is presently a waiting list for next season. New members are selected based on the date they applied for membership. New members are notified in February when vacancies occur and if they still meet the requirements for membership they are invited to join and submit fees at that time.Here is some additional information about our organization:
- UGC Business Women have 66 members.
- Membership fee for 2010 is $160
- Tee times are on Saturday mornings starting at 9:20 am
- Green fees are approximately $70.00 (2009 rate)
- Most correspondence is done via email and information posted on our website. It is the responsibility of each member to frequently check for updates.
- Draws are sent out via email and posted on the website.
- Each member must play a minimum of 8 games with the UGC Business Women during the golfing season to maintain membership status for the following year.
- All new members will be required to participate in the Pace of Play or Rules Clinic which will be held In March or April
Applicants that meet and agree to the terms outlined are invited to complete the following application to have their name added to the waiting list for membership. Each applicant will be notified within a week advising them if they meet the qualifications and their position on the waiting list.
